Outpatient addiction & mental health treatment — PHP, IOP & telehealth — about ten minutes from Mar Vista at our West LA center.
Mar Vista is a neighborhood of young families and long-time residents — people who build their lives close to home. Golden State Rehab fits that pattern. Our DHCS-licensed outpatient center at 1964 Westwood Blvd may be the closest full outpatient program to your door, often under ten minutes up Overland or Sawtelle. That proximity matters: when treatment slots in between school runs and work weeks instead of replacing them, staying with it becomes far more realistic.
We're just as direct about what we are not. This is an outpatient center with no beds and no on-site detox — you attend PHP, IOP, or telehealth sessions, then sleep at home. If medically supervised withdrawal has to come first, we say so plainly, connect you with a licensed detox facility, and hold your place here so treatment starts the moment detox ends.

We're at 1964 Westwood Blvd, Suite 425 — a straight shot north from Mar Vista up Overland Ave or Sawtelle Blvd, usually about ten minutes door to door.
Take Overland Ave or Sawtelle Blvd north, turn right on Olympic Blvd heading east, then turn left on Westwood Blvd. Suite 425 is on the fourth floor — about ten minutes in typical traffic.
Prefer the main corridors? Follow Venice Blvd east, turn north on Overland Ave, and continue up to Olympic and Westwood as above.
Buses serve the Venice Blvd, Sepulveda, and Westwood Blvd corridors. The E Line's Westwood/Rancho Park station sits between Mar Vista and our office, with a short bus ride or rideshare up Westwood Blvd to finish the trip.
We're roughly three miles north of the Sunday Mar Vista Farmers Market at Venice Blvd and Grand View. Head straight north from the market and our building sits just past the Olympic Blvd intersection.
You won't have to drive far to find recovery community. Twelve-step and other peer support groups meet daily within a short drive of Mar Vista — in the neighborhood itself, in Culver City, and across Santa Monica. Before discharge, your therapist helps you build a weekly meeting plan you can actually keep.
If a substance-free home would strengthen your early recovery, we coordinate sober living referrals across Southern California, including operators like Comeback Sober Living. Pairing structured housing with our PHP or IOP gives your days a shape that supports the work you do in treatment.
Save two national resources as well: SAMHSA's free, confidential helpline at 1-800-662-4357 (24/7, English and Spanish) and the licensed-provider locator at FindTreatment.gov. In a mental health crisis, call or text 988 anytime.
Finishing treatment doesn't mean losing your people, either — our alumni program keeps you connected with staff and peers well beyond your last session.

Our office is at 1964 Westwood Blvd, Suite 425, Los Angeles, CA 90025 — roughly three miles from the heart of Mar Vista. Most clients drive up Overland Ave or Sawtelle Blvd and arrive in about ten minutes outside of rush hour, which makes daily PHP or IOP attendance realistic rather than a burden.
Yes. PHP runs full weekday treatment days, while IOP offers both daytime and evening tracks, so sessions can wrap around a work week or a school pickup schedule. On days when the drive from Mar Vista isn't practical, telehealth appointments can take the place of in-person visits without interrupting your program.
Inpatient and residential programs require you to live at the facility. We are strictly outpatient: you come to us for structured treatment during the day or evening, then sleep in your own bed in Mar Vista. We have no beds and no on-site detox — and if your situation calls for that level of care, we say so and refer you to a licensed provider.
Most major PPO plans cover outpatient addiction and mental health treatment, including Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and United Healthcare. Benefits differ from plan to plan, so our admissions team checks yours for free and walks you through exactly what's covered before you commit to anything.
Both. Our mental health track treats depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder as primary conditions — no substance use diagnosis required. Some Mar Vista clients come to us for mental health care alone; others need dual-diagnosis treatment that addresses substance use and mental health together. Your assessment determines which track fits.
Coverage varies by plan. Our admissions team verifies your exact benefits for free and explains your options honestly, without pressure.
