Outpatient addiction & mental health care — PHP, IOP & telehealth — about ten minutes from Brentwood on Westwood Blvd.
Brentwood is a close-knit place — people know each other from the farmers market, the school pickup line, the coral trees on San Vicente. When addiction or a mental health condition reaches a household here, it rarely affects just one person, and families often come to us together. Golden State Rehab is a DHCS-licensed outpatient center at 1964 Westwood Blvd, and our approach is simple: treat the person, support the family. Our families page shows what that looks like.
The logistics work, too. Ten minutes down Wilshire or San Vicente puts you at our door, so a parent can drop the kids at school and still make a 9 a.m. group. And we're straightforward about what we are: an outpatient center offering PHP, IOP, and telehealth — no residential beds, no on-site detox. If medically supervised withdrawal has to come first, we refer you to a licensed detox facility and hold your place here.

Our facility is at 1964 Westwood Blvd, Suite 425 — roughly ten minutes from Brentwood via Wilshire or San Vicente, just south of Westwood Village.
Take San Vicente Blvd east to Wilshire Blvd, continue to Westwood Blvd, and head south past Westwood Village — about ten minutes outside of rush hour. We're between Santa Monica Blvd and Olympic.
From north of Sunset, follow Sunset Blvd to the 405 South, exit at Santa Monica Blvd heading east, then turn right on Westwood Blvd. Our building is on the right shortly after the intersection.
Metro and Big Blue Bus lines run along both the Wilshire and Westwood corridors, with stops within a short walk of our door. Suite 425 is on the fourth floor.
We're about three miles southeast of the Brentwood Country Mart and San Vicente's coral trees, south of UCLA on Westwood Blvd.
The Westside recovery community isn't only for the person in treatment. Al-Anon meetings for family members are widely available alongside twelve-step meetings across Brentwood, Santa Monica, and West LA, so spouses and parents can find their own support too. Before discharge, we help every client map out a realistic weekly meeting plan.
When home isn't the right environment for early recovery, we coordinate referrals to structured sober living homes across Southern California, including Comeback Sober Living. Pairing a substance-free residence with our PHP or IOP gives daily structure without residential treatment.
Two numbers worth saving: SAMHSA's confidential helpline, 1-800-662-4357, answers around the clock in English and Spanish, and FindTreatment.gov lists licensed providers nationwide. In a mental health crisis, call or text 988.
Finishing a program here isn't goodbye — our alumni program keeps former clients connected to peers and staff long after the last session.
Brentwood families do their homework before choosing care. Here's ours.
The California Department of Health Care Services licenses our facility under #191643AP — look us up yourself in the DHCS provider directory.
Medical Director Dr. Eric Chaghouri, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist trained at USC's Keck School of Medicine — and family involvement is built into how our clinical team works.
An independent certification that vets addiction treatment providers. We also work with most major PPO plans and verify your benefits for free before you commit to anything.
About ten minutes by car. From most of Brentwood, take San Vicente or Wilshire east to Westwood Blvd, then head south to 1964 Westwood Blvd, Suite 425. Many parents drop their kids at school and still arrive in time for a 9 a.m. group. Telehealth is available when the drive doesn't work.
Yes, and we encourage it. With your consent, family members can join designated sessions, receive education about addiction and mental health, and get guidance on supporting recovery at home. We also point spouses and parents toward Al-Anon and other Westside family-support meetings. See our families page for details.
Outpatient only. Clients attend PHP, IOP, or telehealth sessions and sleep in their own beds — there is no overnight or residential care here. That structure lets people from Brentwood keep jobs, classes, and family routines. If a live-in setting or medical detox is needed, we refer you to licensed partners.
Most major PPO plans — Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, and others — cover some or all of outpatient treatment. Every plan differs, so our admissions team runs a free, confidential benefits check, usually within about an hour, and explains your costs before you decide anything.
Often within a day or two. Call (424) 208-3120 any hour — a real person answers — and we'll complete a brief phone screening, verify your insurance, and schedule an intake assessment. If detox needs to happen first, we arrange the referral and reserve your spot so there's no gap in care.
Coverage varies by plan. Our admissions team verifies your exact benefits for free and explains your options honestly, without pressure.
