When You're Finally Ready, Waiting Is the Enemy

The moment someone decides to get help is fragile. It can survive a day or two of logistics; it rarely survives a three-week waiting list, a phone tree, or a stack of paperwork that asks you to justify yourself before anyone has said hello. People don't change their minds about recovery because they stopped needing it — they change their minds because the door didn't open when they knocked.

Our admissions process is built around that reality. It has four steps, most of them happen in a single phone call, and it's designed to get you from first contact to your first session in days — often within the same week. The admissions line at (424) 208-3120 is answered 24 hours a day, including nights, weekends, and holidays, because readiness doesn't keep business hours.

The call is free, confidential, and carries no obligation. You can ask questions, verify your insurance, and hang up to think it over — nothing starts until you say so. But if you're ready, we're built to keep up with you.

Four Steps, Days Not Weeks

How Admissions Works

Step 1 — Call or Verify Online

Start however feels easier: call (424) 208-3120 any hour, or verify your insurance online in about two minutes. Either way it's free, confidential, and carries no obligation — you're gathering information, not signing anything.

Step 2 — Insurance & Benefits Check

A benefits specialist contacts your insurer and verifies your exact coverage — deductible, network status, what your plan pays for which level of care. Then we explain what treatment would actually cost you, honestly and in plain numbers, before you commit to anything.

Step 3 — Confidential Clinical Assessment

A clinician talks with you by phone or in person at our Westwood center — your history, what you're using or struggling with, your health, your schedule, your goals. This is how we determine the right level of care for you, not a test you can fail.

Step 4 — Start Treatment

Often the same week as your first call. Your schedule is set around your actual life, your primary therapist is assigned, and you walk into your first session knowing where to go, who you're meeting, and what the day holds. No limbo between "yes" and day one.

What to Bring & Your First Day

Not much: a photo ID, your insurance card, and a list of any current medications. Since we're an outpatient center, you go home each day — no packed bags, no goodbyes. For a walk-through of those first hours, read what the first day of rehab is actually like.

Your Privacy, Protected by Law

Everything you share is protected by HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 — a federal confidentiality law written specifically for addiction treatment. We never contact your employer, and nothing is shared with anyone without your written consent. Calling doesn't notify a soul.

Levels of Care

Which Program Will I Start In?

You don't have to figure this out before you call — matching you to the right level of care is exactly what the clinical assessment is for. Based on your history, needs, and schedule, you'll start in one of our outpatient programs:

One honest note: we do not provide medical detox. If the assessment shows you need medically supervised withdrawal first, we help arrange it with a trusted detox provider — and your treatment with us begins right after, so there's no gap between detox ending and real recovery work starting.

Frequently Asked

Admissions: Common Questions

Our admissions process is built for same-week intake — most people who complete the insurance check and clinical assessment start treatment within days of their first call. Exact timing depends on your insurance verification, the assessment, and your own schedule, so we can't promise a specific day — but there is no waiting list, and moving quickly is the whole point of how we've designed admissions.

A real conversation, not an interrogation. An admissions coordinator asks what's going on, what you're struggling with, and what your situation looks like — work, family, insurance. They answer your questions, explain your options, and if you want to move forward, start the benefits check and schedule your clinical assessment. Most calls take 15 to 30 minutes, and you can stop at any point with no obligation.

Yes, completely. Everything you share is protected by HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, a federal confidentiality law written specifically for addiction treatment records. We never contact your employer, and nothing is shared with family, insurers, or anyone else without your written consent. Calling to ask questions notifies no one and commits you to nothing.

We don't provide medical detox ourselves — we're an outpatient treatment center. If your assessment shows you need medically supervised withdrawal before starting therapy, we help arrange it with a trusted detox provider, coordinate the handoff, and hold your place so treatment with us begins right after detox ends. You make one call; we handle the connecting.

We work with most major PPO plans, including many Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. Whether your specific plan covers treatment — and what it would cost you — depends on your deductible, network rules, and plan type, which is exactly what the benefits check answers. Verifying your insurance is free, confidential, and doesn't notify anyone.

Admissions and treatment happen at our Westside center — visit our Westwood location and the areas we serve, or call (424) 208-3120 any hour to start.
